Chitika Respond to ‘Earn Money – Chitika – Not Recommended’

I just received a reply from Chitika regarding to our previous post Earn Money – Chitika – Not Recommended, and I’m really shocked when they sent me this email to explain and clarify everything.

I believe that they should have the chance to explain it here about their policy and ways of working, so I decided to post their original reply here, or it will be unfair to them, if they don’t have the chance to explain to our readers.

Hi RMvalues Admin,

I have just came across your Chitika review: http://www.rmvalues.com/blog/2010/06/27/earn-money-chitika-not-recommend/

I wanted to kindly provide you some clarifications on some of the items you mentioned in your post, because it appears you have mixed up some key points regarding our service.

First, the error in our referral program.  Some time ago we increased how long we will provide extra referral revenue from 12 to 15 months (right around the time Google removed their referral program altogether).  And it looks like you found a typing error we missed when we increased our program, I will have a tech quickly fix that because it is 15 months.  Thanks.

Second, you did not see a reported click/revenue for the time you clicked on your own ads because our system uses these as test ads.  In other words, you cannot click on your own ads- we will filter these out, because repeatedly clicking on your own ads will result in a possible termination for fraudulent clicks (just like any other service).

Third, “Chitika banner will only be appear in Search Engine Traffic.”
Most of our publishers do not consider this a negative point because we actually did this as a result of publishers requests to NOT bother their regular readers.  It is important for most of our publishers to not have additional ads being thrown in the face of returning readers (who will likely ignore ads anyways).  We are the only ad company to take this important fact into consideration and our publishers have thanked us for it.  For non-search traffic (if a user wants to show an ad 100% of the time) we have options like “alternate URL” set in place.

Forth, regarding a drop in AdSense earnings when using Chitika and Google AdSense together.  After much testing and feedback from our publishers, we have found that the higher majority of publishers, when placing for example: Adsense at the top of their article and Chitika ad the bottom, gives them a COMBINED higher revenue compared to using just AdSense or Chitika alone on their site.  So while one ad might, for some decrease, the revenue added together is higher.

Fifth, “Chitika had introduced the new Chitika Select, which works for international traffic. In this ads, we found Google Adsense ads appear on their ad space. What does it mean? You will not be paid when someone clicks on your ads, because they have no way to track it”
This statement is just entirely untrue.  Select ads are not limited to international, they are another solution to those who’d like some extra revenue for displaying ads to more than their search traffic.  In other words, Select ads display to non-search traffic.  We do pay our publishes for clicks on Select ads, and they can choose whether or not they’d like Select ads to display on their website(s).

If there is anything further you’d like to inquire about, please do not hesitate to reply and ask.

We have to mention and clarify 1 thing here too — our review on previous post are 100% truly honest and these all are based on our experiences and discussions on several large forums.

We recommend you to test it yourself and tell us, how you feel about it.

Earn Money – Advertlets – Scam

Unfortunately today we would like to tell you a Malaysia local scam money earning company – Advertlets.

You may ask, why you said Advertlets is a scammer and you never saw Advertlets ads appear on RMvalues ? If you remember, RMvalues is not only organized by 1 person but a group of peoples, although we uses the same account id (RMvalues) to write the blog post, that’s why sometimes you will see and feel the style of the blog posts are differences. 2 of our team members used to use Advertlets for a long time, but did not get paid although they reached the minimum RM 100 payout.

Why we said Advertlets is scam ?

Google it, majority of the Advertlets users did not get paid, but why they still can stay in market for several years ?

Advertlets really do not pay ?

Not really, Advertlets only pay their large publishers. If your website receive 1,000,000 and earn daily over RM 100, Advertlets must pay you, on time even.

But if you are just a small publisher which takes few months up to years to reach the minimum RM 100 payout, they will not pay you.

Why ?

Because the large publishers have large amount of audience, everyday few thousand to million peoples visit their website and if they tell their visitors that ‘ Oh, Be aware of Advertlets, it’s a scam! Stay away of it! ‘ , of course their image will gone right away. But if the small publishers which have very little visitors, they can’t influence the peoples to continue being scammed. So, what’s the point to pay them?

This might be not the fact of why they don’t pay the small publishers, but it shouldn’t far from the truth.

There are thousand of peoples did not get paid, you can check Google search result of ‘Advertlets Scam‘ , there are many interesting discussion and blog posts.

If you dare to try, go ahead to sign up an account with them here http://www.advertlets.com/.

If you have something to share with us about Advertlets, please leave your comment here. 😉

Earn Money – Bidvertiser – Not Recommend

Well, I still remember few years ago when the Bidvertiser launched (actually at the moment when I signed up an account it already launched 2 years), I went to sign up an account and it was so easy to get approved and I began to placed my ads on my first website. And Bidvertiser was the first publisher programme I used.

After placing the ad code, I straight away sent my account manager an email to ask some questions which I don’t remember it now, just for some clarification. However, when I tried to login on the 2nd day, it said my account was disabled without any reasons. And until today I still haven’t receive the respond from Bidvertiser.

At that time, I really want to tell them ‘@%^!(*#~’, but some days later when I cooled down, I started to search and asked in forums, oh, so many forumers encounter the same issues, WTH, can’t you asked Bidvertiser a single questions? I get started to know that was so many victims like me, so I have nothing to blame anymore.

Well, now I don’t care about it, because Bidvertiser is not my cup of tea to make money and the rest of this article will be on neutral position, trust me! :p

What is Bidvertiser ?

Bidvertiser is another CPC money earning program established by an Israel company.

What does Bidvertiser offers ?

Bidvertiser offer you Banner and Text Link Ads in Banner, Skyscrapers, Rectangles, Button and Free Design format.

How does Bidvertiser Works ?

If you remember our previous posts regarding to Adbrite and AdOnion, it will be easier for you to understand how does it work. Bidvertiser is just work like a marketplace where you can sell your ad space or choose to run their network ads when you still waiting for buyers to advertise on your ad spaces.

Does Bidvertiser offer referral program ?

Yes, Bidvertiser pay you

  • USD $ 10 when you refer a new advertiser and first spends $10, and pay you another USD $ 20 when that same advertiser spent another USD $ 50.
  • USD $ 10 when you refer a new publisher and first earns $10, and pay you another USD $ 40 when that same publisher earns $50.

Our Recommendation:

I strongly not recommend you to use Bidvertiser program, not only based on my experience, but also based on our researches on this publisher program. As you know, we will share the information with you only after several weeks to several months researches and finding.

You can Google the keywords ‘Bidvertiser‘ , ‘Bidvertiser Scam‘ or ‘Bidvertiser Fraud‘, I’m sure you will find a lots of negative reviews and bad experiences on it. Even had users did the ‘test clicks’ and found no cliks on their control panel but their advertiser account in Bidvertiser show that it was present clicks and cut their money.

However, we do not stop you to try their services. If you want, you can follow this link to open an account in Bidvertiser.

Best of luck.
