Hi, this is my first post and I would like to share a bad experience with Konsortium Bus Express with you. Really unhappy with their service and pricing.
Some days ago I took bus Utama Express with VIP seat from city X in Pahang to Kedah and price me RM 48. Then I went to Penang gather with friends and return city X via Butterworth. I purchased Konsortium Bus Express with VIP seat too, because few years ago I took Konsortium Bus Express once and had a very good experience with them.
They charged me RM 50. RM 50 ? Supposed to be cheaper than bus Utama Express right? Fine, I paid and collected my ticket, because I believed that good service RM 2 extra is worth to give.
Just sat in bus, a person in charge came to me and exchange the new official ticket with me. I shock with it. Unfortunately I threw the ticket away and unable to show the proof here.
The ticket written from Butterworth to Kuala Lumpur is RM 24 and from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan, Pahang is RM 13+. Total price is less than RM 38. But they stamp a big red colour words – Surcharge 30%. WTH ? Is this currently high season or during festival ? I remembered the latest increase of bus fares was long time ago, ticket should be new printed, am I right ?
Totally mood down and don’t want to argue with them, because of tiredness from journey and wish to go city X for my friend faster. Now, the real nightmare is coming.
What does it mean Express ? According to dictionary, Express mean a special services which are provided by companies or organizations such as the Post Office, in which things are sent or done faster than usual for a higher price.
But it stops over 5 times to take passangers from small small towns, such as in front of shop, beside petrol station, in bus station and so on. This made me crazy. I feel that I have been cheated.
I’m swear I’ll not longer choosing Konsortium Bus Express services anymore. If you have any good or bad experience with any bus company services, please share with us here.
Tomorrow, I will start to share my experience with some europe accommodation with you. 😉
