Euro 2012 will be held on 8 different cities in Poland and Ukraine. There are Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw, and Wroclaw (Krakow) in Poland and Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Lviv in Ukraine. Yesterday I’ve shared the information of Poland, and today I’ll go with the information of Ukraine. 🙂
It located on the South-East part of Ukraine. It’s a highest HIV prevalence case in Ukraine. Nearby to Russia.
It’s located on the South East part of Poland too, and it’s above Donetsk. It’s a second largest city in Ukraine. The city was founded in 1654 and was a major centre of Ukrainian culture in the Russian Empire. Kharkiv became the first city in Ukraine where the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic was proclaimed in December 1917 and Soviet government was formed.
Kharkiv became and remained the capital of the Ukrainian SSR until 1934, when the administrative capital was moved to Kyiv.
It’s a capital and largest city in Ukraine, located in the north central part of the country on the Dnieper River. It also known as Kiev.

During my 3 days trip in London, I chose Easy Hotel. Easy Hotel is a low cost 5 stars hotel organized by Easy Group. It has the same concept as TuneHotels which is under Tune Group Malaysia, or by other words, TuneHotels concept come from their ideas.
Easy Hotel has many hotels not only in London, but in several europe countries. Only in London there are 5 Easy Hotels located in different places. The one I stayed in was Easy Hotel Heathrow. It’s very near to Heathrow airport, about 15 minutes by bus.
Due to their “pay for what you use” concept, so the rooms only come with free towel, bed sheet, pillow and some basic things. Although the TV is present, but nothing you can watch, unless you pay for it. Hotel also has wifi internet connection with extra charges.
I was very lucky and got free TV to watch, because Easy Hotel Heathrow was just launched and it was their promotion. Normally you must pay for it. 😉
The room and door in corridor are secured by key card, you will be given 1 when you check in. But there is a funny thing, you will have to use key card to enter the main entrance of the hotel, otherwise you will have to ring the bell or wait till somebody to open the door for you. You will meet this problem when you first visit to it.
That day I encounter a small issue when I wanted to bath, the hot water and cold water pipe were not working properly, after communicated with the staff and after he failed to resolved the problem, he upgraded me to another bigger room for free. Great service and really friendly staff.
The normal price starts from £40, but I was charged for £49.50, because it was New Year Eve. Normally during peak season, festival and holiday the price will be higher than usual.
I strongly recommend you to try EasyHotel Heathrow when you pay London a visit. I was so impressed. 😉
