Local Call Rates (mean within same area. but it without clear definition.)

Each call will be billed minimum 2 minutes, if call are less than 2 minutes. That’s mean minimum charges is RM 0.08.
Then every minute is RM 0.04.

Fixed Line Call Rates – TM Voice Call Plans

TM is offering another Voice call package which works like mobile postpaid plans, a fixed monthly fee.

Currently TM is offering 3 voice call plans, all of them included :

  • Free TM Homeline rental
  • Free Calls to all TM Fixed line in Malaysia
  • Free DECT phone with 12 months warranty
  • Minimum 6 months contract
Voice Deal 38 RM 38/month RM 0.15/min to all other fixed line and mobile operators
Voice Deal 48 RM 48/month RM 0.12/min to all other fixed line and mobile operators Free 60 min to all other fixed line and mobile operators
Voice Deal 68 RM 68/month RM 0.10/min to all other fixed line and mobile operators Free 120 min to all other fixed line and mobile operators

Our opinion :

If you make less than 200 minutes calls on mobile operators and other company fixed line, then you shouldn’t select Voice Deal 68. Because first 60 minutes are Free, and the rest 140 minutes only cost RM 16.80, total only RM 64.80, far less than RM 68.

If you make over 250 minutes calls on n mobile operators and other company fixed line, then Voice Deal 68 can really help you to save a lot.

Fixed Line Call Rates – TM Voice Access Plan

Thanks J.L. for reviewing several cheap and quality europe budget hotels and hostels. Today we will go to another topic which is home fixed line call comparison. There are several companies which offer these services instead of TM, however, they are not currently available in whole Malaysia due to some limitation.

TM currently offer 2 voice plans which are Access plan or we said pay as you use and Call plans. In this topic we will not touch any combination plan of TM, like voice plan + internet plan, all will be limited to voice plan only.

Deposit : RM 75*
Stamp Duty : RM 10*
Rental Charges : from RM 13 to RM 25. (but we have been billed RM 26, may be TM website has not been updated yet!)
Installation Charges : RM 50*
Line * : RM 50 for first 5 meter, then RM 5 for each meter.
Reconnection Fee : RM 10.
