Smartphone RM 200 Rebate for Youth

Remember in when treasury minister purposed the Malaysia budget 2013, he said that it will give RM 200 rebate for youth to buy a smartphone. After long wait, finally Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC aka SKMM) had just announced couple days ago on how the rebate given and the restriction.

  • Age 21 – 30.
  • Price of the ‘smartphone’ must not more than RM 500. (i doubt how smart is it)
  • Must buy with telcos (Celcom, DiGi, Maxis etc) and subscribe their data package.
  • Only 1 smartphone per person.
