Cheapest RM 250 plans – Value Plus 250

As we can see from above, DiGi always is the cheapest postpaid provider.

And we can also see that, Maxis is likely to penalty it’s subscribers when they make calls or sending SMS/MMS to other operators. Maxis charges are extremely high SMS and MMS rate on sending to other operators.

Celcom and DiGi have the flat call rates on all networks anytime anywhere.

It’s the time for us to compare all the telco prepaid plans in Malaysia after over a month of each operator plan details explanation.

Some telco offers not only 1 prepaid plan, but we will only compare the cheapest plan with other telco. Beside that, we will also compare only rate of calling or sms to all networks instead of own telco networks, because of MNP, we might not know which telco the other end is using, so only flat rate to all networks will help us save a lot, unless you only call to same telco.

Today, we will see the offer and rate of another MVNO — XOX. And tomorrow we will review all the operators (MNO and MVNO) and tell you which is the cheapest plan and why.

XOX is another MVNO of Celcom as what we saw these days. Frequency band of XOX are GSM 900, GSM 1800 and 3G2100.

XOX is the first telco to implement the “Short Call Service” to let you enjoy the lowest rate at 8 sen for the first 15 seconds of a call. 15 seconds may seem short but sometimes that is all it takes for you to show your loved ones how much you care!

XOX also offer only 1 prepaid plan, but the rates are divided into 3 levels based on the amount of top up.

Conditions of rate level:

Charge rate level can be brought forward to the next month and in case of next month fail to maintain the charge rate level, the 3rd month will be brought back to the charge rate level of the current reload amount.

For example on May RMvalues reload RM 50, RMvalues will enjoy Gold charge rate for May and June. And if on June RMvalues reload only RM 40, then on July RMvalues will be charged based on Silver level.

Bonuses of XOX?

Unfortunately they do not offer any bonus to their subscribers.

Then why should you choose XOX?

You can get Free validity up to 368 days. Whenever you reload, your validity will automatically accumulate and it can go up to 368 days.

Review of XOX Prepaid Package:

Reload minimum of RM 50 to enjoy the lowest call rate sounds unreliable, since you can get even cheaper call and sms rate with any other operator’s postpaid plan (RM 50 commitment etc).

The advantage of XOX Prepaid is you can save lots of money if you make very short calls, e.g. less than 15 seconds. And you can accumulate the validity up to 368 days, so you have no worry of it.

Recommend for those who always make a short call. ;)
